Anchor for KAKE News @ 5PM, 6PM, 10PM

Deb grew up on a farm in Iowa before moving to Pratt, Kansas. She graduated from Pratt High School and Fort Hays State University.

Deb began her career at KSNT in Topeka as a reporter, anchor and producer. She came to KAKE TV in 1992.

Deb has covered everything from the BTK trial to the Greensburg tornado. In 1990, Deb traveled to Saudi Arabia to cover the first Gulf Crisis. She has earned an Emmy for her work on KAKE News at 4, along with two regional Edward R. Murrow awards. Deb has also received numerous Kansas Broadcasting Association Awards for her investigating reporting.

During her off time, Deb enjoys spending time with her two children, Josie and Jake, reading, working out, watching sports and shopping.
