WICHITA, Kan. (KAKE) - Wichita police say a person riding an electric bicycle was struck and killed on the city's northwest side early Sunday morning.
Officers responded at around 2:10 a.m. to the report of a crash involving a vehicle and an electric bike in the 2400 block of North Hoover, which is just north of Zoo Blvd. They arrived to find the male victim unresponsive, and EMS later pronounced him dead.
WPD spokesperson Andrew Ford said victim was riding north on Hoover when he was struck by a vehicle that then continued driving north. His name and age have not been released.
