WICHITA, Kan. (KAKE) - Police say a man was rushed to the hospital in following a stabbing in midtown Wichita on Sunday.Â
It happened at around 4:20 p.m. near Topeka and Pine, which is just a block south of Ascension Via Christi St. Francis hospital. Capt. Aaron Moses with the Wichita Police Department said first responders arrived to find a 48-year-old man who had been stabbed multiple times.
The victim was undergoing treatment at the hospital. Capt. Moses said he was in extremely critical condition.Â
Investigators believe the victim and suspect were arguing prior to the stabbing. No arrests had been made as of Sunday evening.Â
