Stephanie Maniche
About
Stephanie Maniche was born and raised in Oakland, California and attended college at California State University East Bay. She comes to KAKE from WBKB in Alpena, Michigan, where she took it upon herself to inspire her community during the pandemic through innovative, positive new segments.
One of the more meaningful stories Stephanie has done was about a bed bug issue plaguing a senior living facility. “This one was impactful because I felt as though I gave a voice to the voiceless,” says Maniche. “These seniors were afraid to speak out for fear of losing their housing and other benefits. The exposure resulted in management rectifying the issue which was gratifying for me.”
Stephanie is excited to work at KAKE, where she feels she can learn, thrive, contribute and improve as a media professional. In her free time, Stephanie enjoys binge-able TV, delicious Mexican and soul food, and traveling. She’s always searching for unique items for the home or her wardrobe.
If you see Stephanie in the Wichita community, welcome her to the neighborhood!
